     Tony is a PGA Teaching Golf Professional at Chi Chi Sports Complex – a part of The Chi Chi Rodriguez Foundation and Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club in Clearwater, Florida.

    • Examiner for PGA Playing Ability Tests 1995-present

    • Founder of The Villages Tri-County Junior Golf Foundation in 2006

    • Director of the Executive Golf Trail in The Villages, Florida 1999-2006 eventually managing 20 courses and 250 team members

    • Conducted the golf activities for Special Kids Golf starting in 2003 and coordinated with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus themselves. Over 400 special needs children attended in 2010

    • Authored the first Good Golf Guide in The Villages introducing golfers to the rules and etiquette of golf in a friendly and helpful booklet

    • Taught leadership and team building classes through the Lifelong Learning College in The Villages 2007 – Gung Ho and Whale Done

    • Coordinated 3 group trips escorting golfers from The Villages to the Royal Oasis in Grand Bahama for golf vacation in 2003-04

    • Conducted presentation in Naples, Florida on Gung Ho Team Motivation at Florida Membership Conference for over 100 attendees from various country club facilities around Florida

    • Director of Golf Instruction at FSU Golf Course 1995-99

    • Adjunct Professor for Florida State University PGM (Professional Golf Management) Program in 1998 teaching the first class for the now nationally recognized program

    • Boys and Girls High School Golf Coach at Florida High School located on FSU campus 1996-99

    • Founder of Panama City Florida Junior Golf Association & Tour 1990-93

    • Chairman of the Nike Tour Junior Golf Clinic at Hombre Golf Club in Panama City Beach, Florida 1993

    • Taught golfers in preparation and conducted the first local Special Olympics Golf Competition in Panama City, Florida 1992

    • Adjunct Golf Professor at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL 1988-94

     

    Tony began his golf career as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional in 1983. Prior to that he greeted customers, washed golf carts and picked up range balls at Killearn Country Club in Tallahassee, Florida. He also finished T10 carrying the bag for Gary McCord in the 1981 Tallahassee Open which may have helped influence where he is today.
